Special Events
Blessing of Homes
It is our Maronite tradition to have the homes blessed during the Season of Epiphany. Fr. Rodolph would like to bless all the homes of our Parish. Please call the office at 412-278-0841 to schedule the date. It is also our tradition to have water blessed on January 6th, the Feast of Epiphany. You are welcome to bring containers of water, so they may be blessed during the Divine Liturgies.

MYO Fundraiser
Sunday, February 5th following the 11 AM Liturgy. Lebanese Lunch fundraiser: the menu for this delicious lunch includes raw kibbee, chicken and rice, hummus, fattoosh, stuffed grape leaves, and dessert.
Please plan to attend and support our youth.

Feast of St. Maron
Thursday, February 9th is the Feast of St. Maron, a Holy Day of Obligation. Liturgies will be on Wednesday, February 8th at 7 PM and Thursday,
February 9th at 12 PM.

St. Maron Hafli
On Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Fez in Aliquippa. Live music with David Hakim and Band. Maza at 6:30 PM, dinner at 7:30 PM.

Tickets are $55 per person, $35 students over 12 & $25 children 12 and under.

Ticket prices will be $65, $45, $35 after 2/26/2012

MCF

There will be no classes February 12th. Classes will resume February 19th.

Classes are Sundays at 9:30 AM.

MCF teachers and substitute teachers are need. If anyone is interested in MCF teaching, please call Fr. Rodolph.

MYO

MYO Fundraising Raffle
The MYO are having a fundraising raffle. The drawings will be held every other month. The winner will be chosen by the PA 7 PM daily number drawn on the last Monday of that month. Next drawing is Monday, March 26th, Tickets with 5 numbers are sold for $10. Tickets are available after the Liturgies.

MYO Regional Retreat

The MYO Regional Retreat will be held in Cleveland, OH from February 17 - 19.
We encourage all the youth 12 and up to fill out the registration forms as soon as possible.

The Maronite Servants of Christ the Light

The Maronite Servants of Christ the Light congregation now have a home in Dartmouth, MA.

Protecting God’s Children Workshop
Anyone in our church who is involved with the youth from age 18 and under should attend Protecting God’s Children Workshop. The next available workshop will be held at Sts. Peter & Paul, sponsored by the Maronite Community of Aliquippa on Saturday, Feb. 18th from 6 to 9 PM. Call Fr. Rodolph as soon as possible.

7th Annual Gathering of Catholic Men
Saturday, April 14th at A. J. Palumbo Center at Duquesne University. Doors open at 8:00 AM and the closing Mass begins at 4 PM. Pre-register now for only $40 or pay $55 at the door. For details visit www.cmfpitt.org. Flyers are on the table in the hall.

Miscellaneous
News on the New Church

Our campaign for a new church continues to gain momentum. We are approaching $200,000 of donations and commitments. The work is still going on behind the scene to reach our goal. We have begun planning for a magnificent Victory Award Dinner, the first of its kind, to be held in Pittsburgh in July, featuring prominent Lebanese-Americans from across the USA. God is leading us forward in all our efforts. Please continue to pray for our church. May the Lord bless you and your families and keep us united in His Spirit.
